cherry blossom view

the view from my office window really cannot be beat. inside the almost pictureframe of a window sits hallasan, the tallest mountain in korea. for a few glorious weeks the cherry blossom tree directly outside my window was in full bloom. it is good luck to catch the often-falling cherry blossom petals, so my students could be found frolicking under the tree trying to catch the petals for those weeks.
